Massive 7.7 Earthquake Hits Indonesia! Buildings Collapse in Flores, Tsunami Warning Issued
A powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake has struck Indonesia's Flores region.
On Monday, western Colombia was hit by a powerful sequence of earthquakes, including a magnitude 7.4 main shock followed by another strong magnitude 5.0 earthquake.
The powerful shaking became one of the strongest earthquakes recorded in Colombia in more than a decade, and one of the most destructive natural disasters to strike the region in recent history.
The earthquake struck near the small town of San José del Palmar, in the mountainous Chocó region, approximately 250 miles, or 400 kilometers, west of Colombia’s capital, Bogotá.
